Marguerite Evelyn Gripne

Gripne Marguerite Evelyn Gripne died on January 13, 2003, at age 94. She was born to parents Charles and Esther (Hultgren) Gripne on October 5, 1908 in Eagle Valley Township near Eagle Bend. She graduated from Eagle Bend High School and Hamline University. Marguerite worked in the field of education as a teacher and school librarian for 41 years, the last 25 years in the Minneapolis school system. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services were held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Eagle Bend. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2003, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 4501 Bloomington Avenue South, Minneapolis.
