Cook, George F., Jr. Age 85 of St. Louis Park passed away June 30, 2014. George was the third generation owner and past president of George F. Cook Construction Co. He spent more than 45 years in the commercial construction industry and served on the Associated General Contractors of MN board of directors. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed the Boundary Waters and bird hunting (a founding member of the Red Rock Gun Club), he especially loved spending time with family at the cabin. Preceded in death by wife, Audree; sister, Patricia Hitchcock; son-in-law, Michael Logelin. Survived by children, George III (Lee), Cathy (John) Spicola, Jennifer, Lisa Logelin; Audree's sons, Mike (Hope) Gillette, Kevin (Beth) Gillette and Don Gillette; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial Service Thursday, July 10th, 12 noon at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave. South, Mpls. Visitation 1/2 hour before service. Reception to follow at Lakewood Garden Mausoleum. Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society or MN Ducks Unlimited. Cremation Society of MN 612-825-2435
