Carlson, Richard J. age 81 of Andover, passed away Sept. 23, 2017. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, mentor, friend and neighbor. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene; parents, Mary and Victor; son, Tom; brothers, Victor "Junior", Clifford "Bud", Patrick, David, James; sisters, Betty Sue and Mary Lou. Survived by his children, Rich (Brenda) and his sons, Dustin and Dalton, Cathy (Jim) Smiley and their daughter, Brianna, Tim and his daughter, Kelsie (Sam) Leof, Corbin (Lance) Arneson and McKenzie (Sam) Pedersen, Kelly (Ric) Riebe and their daughters, Sydney and Samantha, Kristy (Kraig) Stumo and their children, Konner and Kayla; sister, Florine Sangrene and brother, Steven Carlson; great- grandchildren, Adelyn and Nathan Leof, Taylee Arneson and baby Pederson; along with many other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday (9/29/2017) at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka.
