Maeder, Michael W. Age 79 died September 11, 2017 in San Rafael, CA. Prededed in death by parents Albert R. and Teresa L. Maeder; siblings Clare, James, Albert and Mary Susan. Survived by sister Teresa Strand; many nieces; nephews; and cousins. Before moving to California, he had been a member of the Benedictine Order, a priest known as Father Tobias. He also taught at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN. He was a fund raiser in California. There will be a private family service.
