Pesonen, Oiva (Ike) age 98 of Plymouth. Passed away Sept 12. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister. Survived by his loving wife Helen of 70 years; son, John (Michelle) and their children, Luke (Lindsay) and daughter Christina; daughters, Jane (Paul) Edwardson and their children, Christopher and Marja; daughter, Cindy McPherson and her children, Eric, Laura and Adam. Ike was a University of Minnesota graduate, Marine Corp pilot during WWII, a longtime member of Calvin Presbyterian Church, an avid Gopher football fan and a longtime football coach at Orono High School. Visitation Friday Sept. 15, 5-7 PM at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 177 Glendale Drive, Long Lake. Funeral Service Sat. Sept. 16, 11:00 AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service all at Calvin Presbyterian Church. Private family interment Ft. Snelling. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the Orono High School Foundation.
