Theis, John V. "Jack" age 88 of Hopkins passed away September 11, 2017. Jack was born in 1929 at his home in Hopkins, attended Hopkins high school and graduated in 1948. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1948, graduated from aviation ordinance and air school, and sent to fighter squadron VF 171. He proudly served during the Korean War and European Occupation. Preceded in death by his wife, Lois; parents; brother, Eugene; sister, Marge; sisters-in-law, Patricia, Rita, Betty, Audrey, and Kay. Survived by son, Scott (Michelle); grandchildren, Jeremy and Kara; great grandchild, Jaelyn; brother-in-law, Bob Fideldy; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Hemme and Cheryl Johnson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and long time friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM on Friday Sept. 15, 2017 with visitation one prior to the service at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church- St. Joseph Campus, 1310 Mainstreet in Hopkins.
