Dennis John Carlson

Carlson Dennis John, 35, of Minneapolis, MN, died Tues., Jan. 7, 2003 in Mpls. Dennis was born Dec. 21, 1967 in Waukegan. He graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School, class of Ô86 and later from Augsburg College in Mpls, where he played football while in school. He was also involved in semi-professional wrestling in Mpls, where he was known in the profession as "Samson." Survivors include his mother, Patricia Carlson of Russell, IL; 3 sisters, Candy (Douglas) Medina of DeKalb, IL, Kathleen Carlson of Evanston, IL and Cindy (Gary) Schroeder of Joliet, IL; 2 brothers, Robert Carlson of Russell and Jerome (Gail) Carlson of Mokena, IL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Carlson in 1969. Funeral service Saturday, January 11, 2003 at 2 pm at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL, with Pastor Dan Nowatarski of Russell Community Church officiating.
