Solid, Myron Myron Lee Solid, PhD, 77, of Northfield, MN passed away peacefully after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease on Tuesday, August 15, at the Three Links Care Center in Northfield. Funeral services will be at St. John's Lutheran Church in Northfield on Thursday, August 24 at 2 p.m., with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Myron L. and Carol J. Solid Endowed Scholarship at St. Olaf College. Myron is survived by his wife, Carol of Northfield; sons David (Robin) of Woodbury; Craig (Emily) of St. Paul; MN, daughter Kristin (Sam Easterson) Solid of St. Paul; 5 grandchildren Evan, Tyler, Genevieve, Emmett, and Charles Solid; sister Marilyn (Leland) Rayhill of Tuthill, SD; brother Lee (Shirley) Solid of Merritt Island, FL; and sister LaDeane (Robert) Parker of Merced, CA.
