Emery Robert F., age 75, of Arden Hills, died at home on Jan. 9, 2003. Preceded in death by wife, Patricia (nee Robb) who died Jan. 9, 1990. Survived by daughter & son-in-law, Karen & Jeff Whitehurst; son & daughter-in-law, David & Jan; granddogs, Sydney and Nestle; also many loving friends. WWII Navy veteran serving on the USS Stormes. After the war, Bob worked for Wards Lumber and in 1952, he founded Norcrest Carpets of St. Paul. Many thanks to the staff of St. Joseph's Hospital, Bethesda Rehab, HealthEast Homecare, HealthEast Hospice and most of all, to Dr. Peter Menge. Funeral service at ST. CHRISTOPHER'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 2300 N. Hamline Ave., Roseville, on Monday, Jan. 13, at 11 AM. Private interment. Visitation at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSE-VILLE, 2130 N. Dale at Co Rd B on Sunday, Jan. 12 from 3-7 PM, and at the church from 10-10:45 am Monday. Bob will always be remembered for his kind and loving heart. Memorials preferred. MUELLER-BIES 651-487-2550
