Stanley Arnold Berg

Berg, Stanley Arnold of Cottage Grove passed away on July, 2, 2017, at the age of 87. He was preceded in death by son Thomas, parents Mary and Harry, brothers Art and Linnae, and sister Kathleen Baumann. He is survived by wife Patricia (Borgerson) Berg, daughters Lori and Jodie, grandchildren Jessica Vadnais (Bobby), Roderick Combs and Jacob Bright, five great grandchildren, sisters Lorraine Gullickson, Merry Holman (Bob), Helen Sahadi, and Sandra Hinz (Norm), brothers Phillip (Jo) and Maurice (Judy), and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and then went home to Hanley Falls to farm for many years before retiring to Cottage Grove. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, at 3 PM, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul. A memorial service will begin at 4 PM to be followed by a reception until 7 PM. Memorials are preferred to Friends in Need Food Shelf, PO Box 6, Cottage Grove, MN 55016.
