Elmquist Alton C., Jan. 28, age 85, res. West St. Paul, formerly of South St. Paul. WWII veteran. Longtime member of South Branch Family YMCA. Preceded in death by son, Bruce; parents; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. Survived by loving wife, Phyllis; daughter, Bonnie Johnson; son, Blake (Mary Jo); grandchildren, Marla and Christina Johnson, Ryan and Jamie Elmquist; sister, Eleanor Bunce. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday at LUTHER MEMORIAL CHURCH, 315 15th Ave N., South St. Paul. Private interment Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater.
