Polomny Donald Thomas Sr., age 66, died Jan. 28 after a brief battle with cancer. He was a resident of Brooklyn Park for the past 35 years. Retiree of MTC Transit, with 23 years of service. Don was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. Survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Donald Jr. (Christie), Tammy (Todd) Schwerin, Michael (Naomi), David and Susan (Brian) Dahlgren; 9.75 grandchildren. Also surviving are Don's stepmother, Marie Polomny; brothers, John (Fern), Ronald (Camilla) and sister, Jean (Russ) Blume. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10 am, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center.
