Susan G. Franey, 68, Brooklyn Center, died 1/21 at Prairie Lodge, Brooklyn Center, her home since 1994. Sue was a medical social worker. She received her BA at St. Scholastica and her MA at St. Louis U. She loved the outdoor world, especially skiing which she was able to enjoy in Europe (1957-60) in Special Services for the army and from her home in Denver where she resided until the onset of multiple sclerosis and early retirement. Sue's sparkle and humor will be greatly missed by her brothers, Tom (Barb), Phoenix and Milwaukee, Neil (Billie), White Bear Lake; many nieces, grandnieces, nephews and grandnephews, many cousins, especially Ray (Carol) and Mickey (Mary Ann) Armour, and numerous friends. Preceded in death by sister, Geraldine Severns Killorin in 1994. Memorials preferred to the site that added so much to Sue's life - Fairview Hospital MS Achievement Center, 2200 University Ave, Suite 140, St. Paul, MN 55114. Memorial service at 11:30 am Saturday, February 9 followed by lunch at St. Paul College Club, 990 Summit Ave, St. Paul.
