Elmer C. Ohnstad

Ohnstad Elmer C. Jr. ``Ogie'', age 58, of Buffalo, suddenly on Thursday. Elmer graduated from Cannon Falls High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. He married his best friend, Doris in 1964. They had 3 children and resided in Buffalo. He worked as a Construction Superintendent for twenty-five years. Currently, he was a Construction Observer for the City of Monticello. He loved spending time with his family, including his precious grandchildren. Elmer also had a great love for fishing and camping with family and dear friends. He will be missed and loved forever by all! Survived by his loving wife and best friend, Doris; children, Mike Ohnstad of Buffalo, Deb (Doug) Beise of Loretto and Jennifer (Mark) Ottinger of Champlin; grandchildren, Alex Ohnstad & Abby Harkman, Ashley & Benjamin Beise and Parker Ottinger; a brother, Jerry (Patty) Ohnstad of North Carolina; half brother, Scott (Jennifer) Lazer of Rochester; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Howard (Marilyn) Felber of Kansas City, MO; 9 nieces & nephews, other family & friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Ohnstad Sr. & Irene Lazer. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, United Methodist Church, 609 8th Street NW in Buffalo. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY, 4-8 PM. Prayer Service 7:30 PM TONIGHT. Further visitation will be held at the church on Monday one hour prior to service. Serving the family...
