Joan Rowe Peterson

Peterson Joan Roe, age 68, of Whidbey Island, WA, formerly of Deephaven, MN and Bennington, NE, passed away on Jan. 21, 2002 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her mother, Eva Roe; her father, Harold E. Roe. Survived by her husband, Luther; son, Eric (Susie) Peterson of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Kristin (Brad) Bell of Bloomington, MN, Laura (Dermot) Cowley of St. Bonifacius, MN; grandchildren, Jake, Connor, Nicole, Connor Roe; twin brother & sister-in-law, Jerry E. & Mimi Roe of Omaha, NE; sister-in-law, Arla Adams & husband John of Excelsior, MN. She was a graduate of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, a Countess of Aksarben in 1954. Her greatest joys were her family and her love of animals.
