Chamberlain Milan, born 9/25/24, died peacefully on 1/21/02 surrounded by his family. WWII vet, retired from 7-UP/Pepsi Co. after 37 years. Long-time active member of Visitation Parish and resident of S. Mpls. He enjoyed time with grandchildren, friends, camping, horseshoes, golf and working on his home. Preceded in death by parents, John & Lucille and infant brother, Gordon. Survived by wife of 45 years, Irma; 3 dear daughters, Jean (Dan) Malm, Mary Chamberlain and Carol (Bradley) Fernholz; 5 beloved grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Tate, Leah and Joshua; sister, Clara Mae (Robert) Kent; brothers, Robert, James (Mavis) and Glen (Mary Ellen); and many relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at North Residential Hospice, who cared for Milan and our family with love and respect. They brought us great comfort. Memorials may be directed to North Residential Hospice or Visitation Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial Sat., Jan. 26, 10:30 AM, Church of the Visitation, 45th & Lyndale Ave S. Reviewal Friday, 4-8 PM, with prayer service 7 PM at Gill Brothers Southwest Chapel, 5801 Lyndale Ave S., and one hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Ft.
