Cook Ronald William, of Minnetonka, MN, died unexpectedly on Fri., Jan 18, 2002 in Honolulu, HI. Ron was born Sept. 14, 1939 in Mpls. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1957 and attended Dunwoody Institute to become a commercial electrician. He was an active member of IBEW Local #292, holding the positions of Vice President (currently and previously) as well as Executive Board Chairman, International Convention Delegate, Shop Steward and Job Steward. He carried Master's and Journeyman's licenses and worked actively for 45 years. Ron is the beloved husband of 27 years of Lauree; proud father of Deborah Johnson (James) of Apple Valley; and grandfather of Christopher & Nicholas. Also survived by mother, Helen Cook, Apple Valley; brother, Victor (Barb) Cook of Richfield; sister, Kathy Cook, Burnsville; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives & friends. Preceded in death by father, Victor & brother, Walter. He will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Fri., Jan. 25 at 7:00 PM at Richfield Lutheran Church, 60th & Nicollet Ave S.
