Louis E. Olsen

Olsen Louis E., age 84, of Fridley, passed away Jan. 19 peacefully at his residence. Retired boiler maker with the Boiler Makers Union #647, veteran of U.S. Navy during WWII. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Olsen; daughter, Diane (James) Daniels; son, Dennis L. Olsen; 2 sisters, Margaret Grundy and Patricia Lonkey; brother, Ron Olsen; 6 grandchildren, Jaci Vallillo, Jari (Fred) Robinson, Patrick (Barbara) Dean, Paul (Susette) Dean, Denise (Tim) Leighton and Jaime (Kristine) Olsen; 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation Tuesday, Jan. 22, 5-7 pm at Peterson-Stohlberg Hillside Chapel, Hwy 88 & 19th Av. NE. Funeral service Wednesday, Jan. 23, 11 am at the funeral chapel.
