Wilhelm (Bill) Berger, age 73, passed away Jan. 3 in Kirkland, WA, from cancer & Parkinson's disease. Preceded in death by son, Urs & sister, Friedy. Survived by wife, Ann; daughter, Edie; granddaughter, Nicole & six brothers and sisters residing in Switzerland. Bill was born in Bern, Switzerland and moved to the U.S. in 1957. He retired as VP of Engineering from the Buhler Corp. in Plymouth, MN after working with the company for 38 years. Always active with the Swiss communities of Minnesota and Washington, his accordion playing will be sorely missed. His hobbies included skiing, water skiing, walking and traveling. Bill was full of life & enjoyed being around his family & friends. Memorial service Friday, Jan. 25, 1 PM at Wayzata Community Church. Interment Groveland Cemetery, Wayzata.
