Rapley Violet M., age 97. 54-year resident of Deephaven, MN, with her husband ``Ted.''. Owned and operated Ted's Best Meats at Chowens Corner in Deephaven for many years. Longtime member of St. Therese Catholic Church, charter member of St. Mary's Circle. Longtime volunteer at Courage Center of Golden Valley, Mpls Public Health Center, and Hennepin County Energy Assistance Program. Preceded in death by husband of 72 years, Edward C. ``Ted'' Rapley; son, Richard Rapley; great-grandson, Jeremy Luger and sister-in-law, Margie Blair. Survived by son & daughter-in-law, Frank & Virginia Rapley of Kalamazoo, MI; daughter & son-in-law, Shirley & Jim Luger of Mpls; sister, Catherine Ryan; brothers & sisters-in-law, Hank Blair, Cecil & Louise Blair, Robert & Elaine Blair; grandchildren, Jim Luger Jr., Penny (Paul) Roberts, Ted (Kris) Luger, Mark (Cristina) Luger, Jeff (Julie) Luger, Michelle Edmundson, Kathy (Tim) Asgrimson, Christine Klinkner, Sarah Rapley, Chris Cheaney and Anne Cheaney; great-grandchildren, Stephney, Lori, Tom, Patrick, Katie, Jamie, Jon, Mark, Colin, Jackie, Tyler, Andy, Carter, Brandon and McKenna; and great-great-granddaughter, Alexis; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 21, 2002 at 11 am, St. Therese Catholic Church, 18323 Mtka Blvd., Deephaven (952-473-4422).
