Carol Messina

Messina Carol, 72, rural Bovey, died on Thurs., Jan. 10, 2002 in the Itasca Medical Center, Grand Rapids. Born on Sept. 5, 1928 in Amsterdam, Holland, she was the daughter of Coenraad & Carolina (VonHulzen) Leeseman. She grew up and attended schools in Holland. She married Joseph Messina on Jan. 17, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY. Survivors include 3 daughters, Diana (John Hainsworth) Messina of Burnsville, MN, Victoria Messina of Los Angeles, CA and Angela Messina of Hopkins, MN; 4 grandchildren, Charlie, Donovan, Aryana & Collin. Visitation will be from 1-3 PM on Sun., Jan. 13, 2002 in the Peterson Funeral Chapel. At Carol's request, there will be no services. Arr. by Peterson Funeral Chapel, Coleraine, MN.
