Reidar A. Birkeland

Birkeland, Reidar A. 85, of Columbia Heights, passed away Tuesday, May 9th 2017. Reidar "Duddie" was born in Minneapolis, MN. Dec 19th, 1931 to the late Sigvard and Johanna (Helleman) Birkeland. Reidar worked for the United States Post Office until his retirement. Duddie was a kind and gentle man, who took great care of his family and loved animals, especially cats. Survivors include multiple nieces and nephews and many friends, including special friends Pat and Ellen. Memorial services will he held at noon on Sunday, May 21st, 2017 at New Perspectives Senior Living, 3801 Hart Blvd. NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421.
