Burch Ernest Burch, age 76, of St. Anthony Village. Ernie entered life in a unique way in Winnipeg, Manitoba as being one of triplet brothers. After serving 5 years in the Canadian Royal Air Force, he was employed by St. Paul Companies. He moved his family to St. Paul in 1962 & continued his employment for 30 years, and became treasurer of the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association. Later he enjoyed his retirement years at Cross Lake, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila; and daughter, Gay Lynn. Survived by his wife, Marilyn; son, Grant Burch (Karen); daughter, Sandra Hafner (Douglas); step-sons, Collin Dickey (Kim), Kirk Dickey (Linda); and 9 grandchildren, Reid and Samantha Burch, Taylor Hafner, Clare, Corinne and Caroline Dickey, Blake, Ryan and Paige Dickey; also survived by triplet brothers, Fred (Dorothy)and Gilbert. Memorial service Thursday Dec. 4, 7:00 PM, with visitation beginning 4:00 PM at the Washburn-McReavy Northeast Chapel, 29th & Johnson St. NE, Mpls. Private interment.
