Lida Jensen

Jensen Lida (Heller) was born 3/21/10 and died 1/04/03. She was brought up in the Hutchinson, MN area. She taught country school for a few years and then moved to Mpls where she graduated from a business college. She worked for the State of MN in the Dept of Employment & Security until 1952. She was active in the Mpls Hiking Club and enjoyed golfing and travelling. In 1947 she married Alfred Jensen. In 1994 they sold their house in Bloomington and moved to an apartment in Friendship Village, Bloomington. Lida was a member of the Danish American Fellowship and a longtime member of Salem English Lutheran Church, 610 W 28th St., Mpls, MN 55408. She is preceded in death by parents, Julius & Wilhelmina Heller; sisters, Ruth Schroeder & husband Louis, Dorothy Shutz & husband Douglas, Julia Baril & husband John. Survived by husband, Alfred; nieces, Suzanne Wilson, Jean Zeltinger; nephews, Jule, John, James and Jerry Schroeder and Gregory Baril. Memorial Service Saturday 10 AM, Friendship Village, 8100 Highwood Dr., Bloomington. Private interment Oakland Cemetery, Hutchinson, MN.
