Clifton Ruth E. (nee Craine), age 78, of West. St. Paul died Jan. 7, 2002. Preceded in death by husband, Bruce B. Clifton in 1975; and parents, Lloyd B. Craine and Violet Olson. Survived by children, John L. Clifton of Auburn, AL and Judson B. (Betty) Clifton of Beaverton, OR; sister, Esther E. Craine of WSP; and brother, Lloyd Bernard Craine of Coeur d'Alene, ID; many nieces, nephews and other friends and family around the country. She was a member of the Rainbow Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Member of the St. Paul Camera Club for ovber 50 years. Previously on the Board of Directors of the MN Council for the Gifted and Talented. Ruth was a photographer, artist, student pilot, officer manager, genealogist, sister, friend and Mom. During WWII Ruth was also a piano player for the Red Cross Canteen. She was widely travelled, ever curious, and deeply loved. Memorial Services Saturday, Jan. 12th at 12 NOON, FAITH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1530 Oakdale Ave., WSP. Visitation 11 AM until Service at Church.
