Elaine A. Sakry

Sakry Elaine A., age 67, of Shoreview on January 8, 2002. God set her free from a 15-year struggle with an early-onset brain disorder. Preceded in death by father, Edward Welna and son-in-law, Mark Sheak. Survived by husband, John H.; children, David (Nancy) Sakry, Laura Sheak, John Sakry & Beth (Bill) Mano; grandchildren, Kyle, Kari, Tiffany, Cameron, Ashleigh, Matthew & Allison; mother, Matilda Welna; brother, John (Donna) Welna; sister, Bonnie (Eric) Bergerud. Elaine will be remembered for her love for life and her hospitality to so many. Mass of Christian Burial 1:30 Saturday at ST. ODILIA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3495 N. Victoria, Shoreview with a gathering of friends beginning at 12:30 at the church. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Research.
