Martha Efstation Williams

Williams Martha Efstation Williams, 52, formerly of Asheville, NC, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002. Mrs.Williams, a native of Sante Fe, NM, was the daughter of the late S.L. and Ruby Duckett Tidwell. She was a registered nurse with the Gillette Children's Hospital in Minneapolis and previously worked in Risk Management with Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. Mrs. Williams was an avid golfer and artist. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Harry Lee Williams of Woodbury; 2 sons, Nathaniel Thomas Efstation of Greeley, CO and Nicholas James Efstation; a daughter, Angie Efstation Stanley and her husband Scott; and 2 grandchildren, Cooper and Rylie Stanley, all of Asheville. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003 at The First Baptist Church of Asheville, where she was formerly a member. Dr. Guy Sayles will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 College Place, Bldg C, Ste. #100, Asheville, NC 28801.
