Forcelle, Dennis Mark 77, a lifelong resident, Entrepreneur and Philanthropist of Minneapolis, passed away March 21, 2017 and was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord Jesus Christ. Dennis was born March 15, 1940, to Henry and Adelaide (Jandro) Forcelle. He grew up attending De LaSalle high school; following high school graduation in 1958, Dennis became interested in Machining and started two very successful machining companies. One of which continues to impact the medical industry with lifesaving medical components and devices. Dennis also started a handful of other creative businesses and adventures. Dennis was a dynamic man with a zest to live life to its fullest! Dennis also pursued many different pastimes during his lifetime. He enjoyed travel, especially to the Caribbean! Other hobbies include fishing, cooking, and appreciation of the arts. One of his faster thrills and not for the faint of heart was driving his Top fuel dragster in the NHRA circuit, where at one time he held the record of being the fastest man in Minnesota. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and celebrating time together. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Adelaide (Jandro) Forcelle, his sister Janet Ess and brother-in-law, Art Ess. He is survived by his wife JoAnn (Malark), her son Monte; his daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Jeffery Schmit; grandchildren, Daniel, Rachel, Emily, Joey; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Cassius, Pearl and Aeverie; many other family members and dear friends. Mass of Christian Burial at the BASILICA OF ST. MARY (1600 Hennepin Ave.) Tuesday at 12 Noon with visitation one hour prior.
