Mathisen, Margaret (Streasick) age 89, of Nordeast Mpls, born Oct. 1, 1927 in Stacy, passed away on March 20, 2017 in New Hope. Lifetime Member Fridley VFW Post 363 and the Rosary Society at St. Hed-wig's. She was the "The Laundry Lady" at St. Hedwig's for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Russell; son, Russell, Jr.; parents, Frank and Mary Streasick; 8 siblings. She will be deeply missed by her children, Roger Mathisen (Brenda); Elizabeth Mathisen; grandchildren, Theresa Blaser (Jason), Bradley Mathisen (Michelle), Jon Mathisen (Vicky); 6 great-grandchildren; many relatives and good friends. The family extends a heartfelt Thank You to the staff at St. Therese for their loving care. Visitation at church 1 hour before Mass.
