Evers, Scott age 52, of Eden Prairie, died peacefully at his home on March 5, 2017. Scott grew up in Dyersville, Iowa, attended Iowa State University and had a successful career in Information Systems Management, most recently working for Born Information Systems and Department 56. Scott lived life to its fullest while battling ALS for almost 19 years. Despite his disability and spending the last five years in a wheelchair, Scott was always cheerful and was devoted to his wife and four sons. He encouraged his sons to do the right thing and give their best. Until this past year it was rare for Scott to miss any of his sons' events; baseball for all, football, hockey, choir, or band. Scott always had a twinkle in his eye and a kind word for all. He had a strong faith, enjoyed studying the Bible, spreading the word and inspiring others to live their lives in Christ. It was his wish to inspire others in the faith in hopes that we all be joined once again in God's Heavenly Kingdom. Scott is survived by his wife Kristi, sons, Erik, Zach, Craig & Kenneth; mother Jane, brothers Aaron and Bradd, sister Paula, mother-in-law Suellen Karow, brother and sisters-in-law: Courtney Evers, Sara, Jim & Tonya Karow, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. Scott was preceded in death by his father Gary. Visitation will be at Huber Funeral Home in Eden Prairie, 16394 Glory Lane, from 5:30 to 8:30 on Friday, March 10th. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 11th, at 11 am with visitation one hour prior, at Pax Christi Catholic Parrish in Eden Prairie, 12100 Pioneer Trail. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the ALS Association or Hospice of the Twin Cities preferred. Huber Funeral & Cremation Service Eden Prairie Chapel 952-949-4970 huberfunerals.com
