Lee, Alice Louise (Margot) of Eden Prairie, MN, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017 at the age of 93. Alice is survived by her sister, Marion Van Til; two sons, Larry Lee and Gary Lee; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Lee; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lee Borovkov, Jessica Lee and Barret Lee; and two great grandchildren, Ana and Max Borovkov. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick E. Lee and her special friend John Borden. Alice was born on October 4, 1923 in South Haven, MI to Vernon and Shirley Margot. She graduated from Davenport University in 1942 with an Associate's Degree in Business and married Fred Lee, her college sweetheart, in 1943. In addition to raising a family, she had numerous volunteer jobs in churches and communities when they lived in Ohio, New York and Connecticut. While living in Dallas, TX, Alice and Fred had a business together for seventeen years. Their business activity included management seminars, consulting and writing two books on retirement. They both enjoyed an active role in the Spring Valley United Methodist Church Seekers Group. In 2000, Fred and Alice moved to Minnesota. There she joined the Philanthropic Educational Organization and became Secretary of this dynamic group of women. A memorial celebration will be held at Summit Place on Sat., March 4th from 3-5 pm.
