William Franklin Smith

Smith William Franklin ``Billy'', age 20, of Mpls, passed away Jan. 6 after a brave 10-month battle with leukemia. Preceded in death by great-grandparents, William & Elizabeth Koehler; grandparents, Franklin & Violet Smith; grandfather, William Nathan; uncle, Richard Smith and aunt & godmother, Christine Genadek. Survived by parents, Thomas & Frances Smith; sisters, Sarah (Erik) Jensen & Tena (Brad) Norberg; grandmother, Elizabeth Nathan; uncle & godfather to Sydney & Elyssa; uncle to Jessie, Rachal & Dustin; also survived by special aunt, Sandy & uncle, Ron Bookey; other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Regions Hospital. Service Thursday, 11:00 am at Victory Lutheran Church, 43rd and Thomas Ave. North. Interment Ft. Snelling.
