Amy Jeanne (Hoaglund) Ray

Ray (Hoaglund), Amy Jeanne age 45 of Taos, New Mexico. Passed away on 1/10/17 following surgery, one day shy of her birthday. Preceded in death by father George Hoaglund. Survived by daughter, Samantha Ray, mother Katherine Hoaglund and brother, Eric. A graduate of Minneapolis South High, she attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She felt called to live in Taos, her dream, though it proved a difficult life. Involved in Taos Feeds Taos food drive for many years, Amy loved animals and music, and worked with many musicians on booking shows. A celebration of her life will be held in Minneapolis on February 11: open house, 2-5 pm, at First Congregational Church, 500 8th Ave. S. E.
