Foley, James M. age 93, of Columbia Heights and Fifty Lakes, MN, passed away Dec. 14, 2016. Preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Irene; brothers, Joe, Frank, Danny and Leo; and sister, Mary Foley. Survived by son, Michael (Sherrie) Foley of Marietta, GA; daughter, Cynthia (Norman) Jarvi of Mpls.; daughter-in-law Camilla Foley; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; special cousin John Foley. 1941 graduate of DeLaSale High School. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII, saw action in the Marshall Islands and Okinawa. Retired from U.S. Postal Service. Member of the NARFE and lifetime member of the VFW. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Dec. 19 at 10 AM at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 41st Ave NE & Jackson St., Columbia Heights.
