Dobervich, Robert Obrad Age 93, of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, passed away November 26, 2016. Preceded in death by parents Obrad and Mara (nee Odanovich), sisters Rose (Perpich) and Milica "May" (Savela), and brothers Sam, Michiel, Dan, Eli, and George. Survived by his son, Broc, and numerous relatives. Robert was born and raised in Ironton, Minnesota. He attended Crosby-Ironton High School and, upon graduation, enlisted in the armed services along with his five brothers. During World War II, Robert served honorably as a parachutist with the 127th Airborne Engineer Battalion (Company C) while deployed in the Southwest Pacific Theater. After the war, Robert attended NDAC (NDSU), earning a degree in horticulture. Robert made his career in the food manufacturing industry, most notably as part-owner of Paul Mark Imperial Preserves, a jam and jelly manufacturer in Fargo, North Dakota (until it closed in 1972), and with Totino's, a frozen-pizza manufacturer in Fridley, Minnesota. He will be dearly missed by friends and family. Many thanks to the staff members at Brookdale Eden Prairie for their excellent and attentive care of Robert.
