Yael Lan 'Yaya' Garber

Garber, Yael Lan "Yaya" age 13 months, passed away Dec. 1st. She passed comfortably and peacefully and, as she lived, was surrounded by her loved ones and love. Although she suffered from a serious illness, she never complained and fought relentlessly to enjoy life. We are grateful for the time we got to spend with her, albeit it too short. She is survived by her parents, Ron Garber & June Garber Cheng; grandparents Michal & Micah Garber and Huiling Zhu & Xiaotao Cheng; aunts, Dafna and Donna Garber. Funeral service 12 noon, MONDAY at SHIR TIKVAH SYNAGOGUE, 1360 Minnehaha Pkwy Mpls. In lieu of flowers, donations in Yaya's memory are preferred to Minneapolis Children's Hospital, childrensmn.org.
