George E. Hill

Hill, George E. age 96, of Waconia, formerly Eden Prairie and Minnetonka, passed away November 26, 2016, as a result of heart failure. He was a WW II Vet, noted Building Contractor, member of American Legion Post 150, loved the outdoors and making people laugh. Preceded in death by wife Marjorie E. (Hansey) and daughter Georgene Holasek, brother Robert Hill, sisters Annette Blood, Denise Skusa, Grandson Duston Hill. Survived by children Craig Hill, Randolph Hill, Rebecca (Nick) Folwick, Heidi (Jerry) Elliott; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Funeral service Monday 10:00 am at Excelsior Covenant Church 19955 Excelsior Blvd, Excelsior (952)474-2537, luncheon to follow. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 12:30. Visitation 1 hour prior to service at church.
