Larson, Warren William Age 90 of North Oaks and Arden Hills, died peacefully in his sleep on October 21. Born on November 15, 1925 in Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth and brother, Robert. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1943. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College. His education was interrupted to serve for 26 months in the United States Marine Corps with the Second Division, Second Battalion stationed in Okinawa. Upon discharge he returned to his education graduating in 1949. Warren served as Vice President of FarmOyl Company and as President and founder of Midway Container Inc. (formerly Midway Can Company). Warren was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing In Vergas, Perham and Crane Lake Minnesota. He enjoyed golfing with his colleagues at North Oaks, Midland Hills, and Jonathan's Landing. Warren was a long time member of Svenska Sällskapet and Chaine des Rotisseurs. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Gretchen; son, Brian; daughter, Lynne Plummer (Dave); his grandchildren, Adam Plummer (Allison), Colin Plummer, Cara Larson, Heidi Larson; great-grandchild, Lennon Plummer and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Thursday, October 27th at 11 AM (visitation one hour prior) at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH; 4000 Linden Street; White Bear Lake. Private interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
