Janine Sue Henseler

Henseler, Janine Sue age 62, of Lexington, MN, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at her home. Janine was born on March 17, 1954 in Minneapolis, MN and adopted by Edward and Leona (Witt) Garscia. She graduated high school and attended college and became an LPN. She was united in marriage to Ricky Lee Henseler on June 1, 1974 in Codington County, SD. The two later separated. Janine worked at Schaaf Floral and then worked at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center as an LPN for over 20 years. She loved volunteering at Unity Hospital helping with the babies. She also adopted hundreds of community stray cats near the river by her work and loved feeding and taking care of them. She loved music and holidays, especially Christmas and New Year's, and her great grandson Mason. She is survived by her children, Stacia (Ron Persell) Henseler-Baxter, Jeremy Henseler and Eddie Olson; grandchildren, Tia (Nick) Bjur, Monicka (fiancé Ryley Eidsvoog) Baxter, Alexis Baxter and Isabella Baxter; great grandson Mason Bjur; sister A. Natalie Nelson and niece Lauren Casadei Nani. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband Ricky Henseler. A gathering will be from 3-6PM on Friday, October 28th, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home Chapel in Princeton with a time of sharing beginning at 4PM.
