Narváez, David Merton Age 29, died on Friday, August 19, 2016, when struck by a vehicle in Washington D.C. David was born September 17, 1986, in Northfield, MN. He received a B.A. from St. Olaf College, an M.A. from The Johns Hopkins University, and Level-III Chartered Financial Analyst certification. David was a loyal, selfless, caring son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend to many. He enjoyed service work, traveling, and sports (especially tennis and soccer). David is survived by his parents, Nancy Paddleford and Leon Narváez; his grandmother, Laurie Paddleford; his brother and sister, Benjamin and Cristina Narváez; and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and in-laws. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the United Methodist Church of Northfield. The evening before, Friday August 26, 2016, there will be a wake between 4 and 7 p.m. at the same United Methodist Church.
