Goldner, John "Jack" Age 89, of St. Anthony Village passed away August 20, 2016. Born August 13, 1927 in Minneapolis to Thor and Laura Goldner. John was raised in N.E. Minneapolis and graduated from Edison High School in 1945. He immediately enlisted in the Navy. After his Navy service, he graduated from the U of M College of Pharmacy. He worked for many years at HCMC and much of that time as Director of Pharmacy. John volunteered his time at his church, was a Boy Scout leader and blood donor (over 8 gallons). Active with the Minnesota Masons and the American Legion. Preceded in death by sister Loris; and brother Charles. Survived by wife Lois, sons Alan (Mari) of Corvallis, OR and David (Kathy) of Roseville, MN; brother Bruce (Valerie); grandchildren Brian (Jenny), Lisa, Laurel and Claire. Memorial service Wednesday 11:00 AM, Roseville Covenant Church, 2865 Hamline Ave. N., Roseville. Visitation one hour prior to service at church. Private interment Hillside Cemetery.
