Gray, Lieutenant Colonel Billy C. January 18, 1921 July 21, 2016 Age 95, of St Anthony, MN. Born in Missouri, Bill's family moved to Sioux City, Iowa where he met the spectacular Betty Jane Nelson in grade school, marrying her some years later. They settled in Minnesota, enjoying their good neighbors on Silver Lake and spending many happy summers fishing with Betty Jane at his cabin in Bemidji. Bill had a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 23 years. As a decorated pilot he flew 14 missions over Germany in WW2. After the war, Bill served at the Pentagon, working with top scientists, under his boss Gen. Jimmy Doolittle. Bill is survived by his children, Barbara Connealy (Pat), Stephen Gray (Shuri), and Kathy Lauzon (Jud); grandchildren Brian, Debby, Jason, Jeremy, Jon, Mary, Matthew, Michelle, and Robert.
