Grieder, Roy E. Age 95 of Roseville, died July 19, 2016. Dearly loved by son Glenn (Colleen), daughter Janet (Denis Nolan), grandchildren Chris (Michael Schmelter) & Barbara, great-grand-children Teo Grieder, Kellie & Katie Pagel, nieces & nephew. Preceded in death by wife of 54 years Betty (Gautschi) & brother Gene. Born on the West Side; attended Humboldt High School; proud member of Boy Scout Troop 10 and "the Rovers". WWII US Navy Seabee; U of M Civil Engineering graduate; Great Northern Railroad employee prior to being St Paul chief bridge engineer for 23 years. Active volunteer and member of many organizations. Loyal friend; exquisite woodworker, talented artist, fine craftsman. Thanks to Drs. Hasan, Cliffe & Moore and the entire staff at Eagle Crest Commons.
