McKillips (Mallinson), Carol Ada age 57, of Golden Valley, formerly of Hutchinson, passed away at home surrounded by her family on 7/19/16 after a 5-year battle with cancer. Preceded in death by brother, William Christian and mother, Mary. Survived by father, Donald Mallinson; brother, Charles (Colleen); sister, Susan (Craig) Isaacson; husband, Glenn; son, Colin; step-daughter, Dannielle; other family and friends. Carol was raised in Hutchinson. Married to Glenn and lived in Golden Valley for 30 years. She was a dental assistant for several decades and was very much admired by her peers. An extremely joyful and courageous person who touched everyone's life in a very positive manner and left a legacy of joy, happiness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Gilda's Club. Private interment. Memorial service Monday, 7/25, 11 AM at Valley of Peace Lutheran Church, 4735 Bassett Creek Dr., Golden Valley.
