Mathias Rau

Rau, Mathias age 90 years, 10 months, and 2 days of Minnetonka, MN passed away peacefully in his home July 12, 2016 with his loving wife Barbara Rau by his side, married for 55 years. He is survived by his two daughters, Andrea Jenkins of Denver (Sean Ugrin) and Stephanie Rau Barber of Minneapolis (John Barber) and many relatives. Born September 10, 1925, Mathias immigrated to the United States in 1956 from Berlin. Mathias was an incredibly dedicated transmission specialist who worked hard to provide for his family and made time to spend time with friends and family. Special Thanks to April Swanson and Mary Greenwell for their loving caregiving. Visitation at 9 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 10 AM, Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at Washburn-McReavy at the Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th St. and Vernon Ave @ Hwy 100, Edina, MN.
