Stone, Barbara Jean 76 of N.E. Mpls. went to be with the Lord July 5, 2016. Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Frances Pointek; 2 unborn children. Barb is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jerry; children Diane Cowan (Tim Buttweiler), Robert "Bobby" (Wendie), Mary (Bill) Litzau; grandchildren Kelsey and Brianna Cowan, Hayley (Chase) Borgendale, Jacob and Leah Litzau, Shaye and Christian Stone; great grandsons Camden and Carter Borgendale; many other relatives and friends. Barb loved cooking and spending time up north with her family and friends. Our family would like to thank the caring staff at St Therese at St Odilia as well as Abbott Northwestern, especially the E.R. Department and Cheryl Bailey, M.D. of MN Oncology. Special thank you to Gina Barthel, RN with Allina Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, memorials welcomed to St. Therese at St. Odilia, 3500 Vivian Ave., Shoreview. Memorial Mass will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Clement's Catholic Church, 901 24th Ave. N.E., Mpls. with visitation one hour prior.
