Schmitt, Maxine Formerly of Crystal passed away peacefully June 27, 2016 at age 88. Preceded in death by husband Robert; parents, Anthony and Helena Krogman; siblings, Vince, Donald, Kathryn, Eleanor and Anthony. Survived by children, Steve (Mary), Bob (Kris), John (Donna), Mike (Linda), Tom (Vennie), Dan (Eileen), Mary (Ted) Konz, and Kathy (Bill) Harter; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Road, Crystal. Visitation 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Private Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family and will be directed to the Alzheimer's Assoc. A devoted wife and mother, Maxine lived her life for others.
