Ostendorf, Ervin "Erv" age 87, of St. Louis Park, died June 25, 2016 of Alzheimer's disease surrounded by family. He is survived by wife, Marian of 57 years; children, Becky (Ron) Tungseth, Ruth (Steve) Mensing and Ross (Sonya); grandchildren, Elise (Andy) Carlson, Sarah (Ben) Sigrist, Ian Tungseth, Zack (Courtney) Konetski, Eric Mensing, Simon, Onna and Gavin Ostendorf; great-grandchildren, Cora Carlson and Owen Sigrist; and siblings, Virgil, Evelyn Bourne, Roger (Donna), Marlene (Roy) Christianson. Preceded in death by parents, Harm and Martha Ostendorf; brother, Mickey. US Army Veteran, Korean War. Owner of Erv's Lawnmower Repair, serving the community for four decades. Retired over-the-road trucker and warehouseman. Memorial service 11 AM Thursday, June 30 at Peace Presbyterian Church, 7624 Cedar Lake Road, St. Louis Park. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Peace Presbyterian Mission Fund.
