Schoeben, Frank M. In true character, Frank worked hard right up to close, completing his work at sunset on the first day of summer, Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Cancer claimed another "Good Guy". He was a loving husband, exceptional father and adoring grandfather. Preceded in death by foster parents, Herman and Ruby Williams; sisters, Cleo Willie and Lollie Wichterman; and brother, Roger Schoeben. Survived by wife, Vicki; sons, Steven (AnaMaria), and John (Sally); daughter, Susan (Sam Blanchard); grandchildren, Samantha, Kady, Lyla, Violet, Liam and Hans; brother, Richard; many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends. Service is Saturday, July 2nd at 11 am, at Crossroads Church, 17671 Glacier Way, Lakeville, MN. Luncheon to follow at Woolley's/Embassy Suites Airport Hotel, 7901 34th Ave. S, Bloomington, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Angel Foundation, 1155 Centre Pointe Drive, Suite 7, Mendota Heights, MN 55120 or "The Frank Schoeben Legacy Fund" through Crossroads Church providing college scholarships. Special thanks to caregivers at Methodist Hospital/Frauenshuh Cancer Center, Burnsville Park Nicollet Oncology, Mayo Clinic, and his hospice and Live Well at Home Care "angels". Because he loved Disney, we would like to end with these words, "Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you, until we meet again. Remember to wish upon a star, my very special friend."
