Clubb, Fr. Ronald E. Age 86, died on June 23, 2016 in St. Paul. In his life he was a husband, father, educator and priest. He was a teacher at East Detroit High School, principal at Roosevelt and Marshall University High Schools in Minneapolis, principal at Derham Hall High School in St. Paul and canonical administrator of Risen Christ Catholic School in Minneapolis. He was among the men first ordained as Deacons in the Roman Catholic Church in the archdiocese of Minneapolis and St. Paul in 1976. After the death of his wife, he continued his seminary work and was ordained in 1986. He served at St. Peter Church in Mendota, St. Dominic Church in Northfield, Church of the Holy Name in Minneapolis and St. Benedict and St. Michael the Archangel Churches in Hawaii. He retired in 2000. He lived in Burnsville with his son, Joe, and his family. He was a long-time member of the St. Leonard of Port Maurice Catholic Church community in Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris and his daughters Leanne and Paula (infant). He is survived by his children and their spouses: Kathryn (Linda), Joseph (Anne), John, and son-in-law, Jeff; his grandchildren Miguel (Francia), Rachel, Aaron (Shannel), Jessica (Jeremy), Michaela, Noah, Cassandra, Maria and Katherine, and his great grandchildren Hailey, Sarai, Gloria, Jayden, Anchor and Liam and numerous friends, former parishioners and students. He died on the 60th anniversary of his marriage to Doris Borgert Clubb. Mass of Christian Burial is at Church of the Holy Name (3637 11th Ave. S., Minneapolis) at 11am on Tuesday, June 28.
